MISSION AND VISION

Our Mission

Government of India has launched Smart Cities Mission with an objective to promote sustainable and inclusive cities that provide core infrastructure and give a decent quality of life to its citizens, a clean and sustainable environment and application of ‘Smart’ Solutions. Kakinada Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL) proposed to implement various initiatives for Area Based Development (ABD) and Pan City Solutions in Kakinada under Smart City Mission.

Our Vision

KSCCL has formulated a vision and mission of Kakinada City to transform Kakinada from Pensioner’s Paradise to Economic Destination by making the city economically vibrant, inclusive, livable & sustainable based on the strengths of ports, marine & tourism with due consultation from various stakeholders. Kakinada is education hub that attracts huge number of students across the district. Keeping in mind with vision, KSCCL is aiming to improve the education standard by implementing Virtual and digital classroom projects. KSCCL has identified public schools to develop them as e-learning centers to bridge the gap between the knowledge imparted from institutes of excellence and the remote government school classrooms and focused to enhance the learning outcomes of the school-going children using innovative techniques through virtual classrooms and digital classrooms. The company has aimed to set up skills development center. KSCCL identified the aspirations and issues faced by the people through citizen engagement. Issues like health, recreation, education, accessibility etc. In regard to these issues, different projects were identified to be implemented under ABD and PAN City. Sustainable mobility is one of the essential components in order to create a Smart City.

KSCCL is committed to engage with citizens and fulfill their suggestions, thus constantly updating and incorporating them into the ongoing projects. This huge scale of project would not have been possible without the phenomenal leadership and teamwork of officers in KSCCL and their supporting partners. Further, I appreciate the work excel- lent work done by the KSCCL team.
